How to: autumnal tea light jars

These quick, simple and cheap tea lights can be personalised any way you want, and the process can be used to created any theme that will complement your room.. think dried flowers, sea shells.. pretty much anything. These tea lights are also a really cheap way to update your room as the seasons change.

You will need:
PVC glue

Glue brush

Leafs of your choice

String  or ribbon

Jars or any type of glass container of your choice

Start by ensuring that the jars are clean and all labels are removed. Paint a thin layer of glue on the outside of the jar and begin to position the leafs, or what ever you are using onto the jar until you get the desired layout.

Once you are happy, cover the jar in a thick layer of glue paying attention to the leafs to ensure they will stay put. The glue will dry with a glazed appearance, this takes a couple of hours. Once dry  wind any type of string or ribbon around the top of the jar.  Place around your room with tea lights in to give your room an autumnal feel.
